Beth Shan is a small scale Artisanal Producer, making beautiful preserves - by hand, in their historic home's kitchen, applying traditional "confiture" techniques in French copper pots.
Did you know a french styled marmalade takes 3 days to make? First, steeping to release the oils, then maceration to extract the flavour, and finally the magic of the copper pots to produce a clean tasting, zesty produce that is a Beth Shan favourite.
Fruit and vegetables still come from friend's yards, abandoned orchards and hobby farms and they now also proudly support small scale Victorian farmers.
Beth Shan has made a conscious decision to stay small - their motto "local, seasonal and sustainable" means preserves are made when the fruit/vegetables are in season, at their ripest and in abundance. It is better for the environment, the grower and for you.
