Grenache, or Cannonau as it is known in Italy, is grown on the island of Sardinia alongside Vermentino.

The 2024 Grenache was aged in Hungarian oak puncheons for ten months before bottling. It’s vibrant and expressive, with aromas of fresh strawberries, vanilla bean and spice, followed by flavours of berry compote and spice, wrapped in smooth tannins and a line of crunchy acidity.

Situated at 600 metres above sea level with direct views of Mount Macedon and Mount Towrong, this cool climate vineyard enjoys moderate seasonal rainfall. Terracing the vineyard has allowed them to maximise the use of the gentle slopes and by practising sustainable farming techniques, they have been able to harvest high quality grapes with a low yield.
The Vineyard is farmed with the use of organic composts with no pesticides or herbicides used. Winter prunings are mulched back into the mid rows. All vines are cane pruned and grapes are handpicked.
